This is how it works: Talis Group can provide you with
Temporary Workers that can be Hired on by you after 520 hours without a fee. (See your Placement Specialist for details of positions that qualify.) 1. If you need to hire a temporary employee, just call and tell us about the job duties. We will have a temporary at your company when requested. You pay Talis Group a per hour amount for the work performed. Talis Group pays the employee, all related employment taxes, workers compensations insurance, unemployment etc. You treat Talis Group as a vendor and Talis Group handles all employee aspects. (Be wary of any staffing company that treats the candidate as a contractor and not an employee. This could bring unwanted risk to your company.) 2. Need to hire someone to fill an open position? You need Talis Group to help you Direct Hire. Just tell us the details of the job. We will provide qualified candidates that have been interviewed, skill tested (if applicable), and reference checked. We will arrange interviews and help with any salary negotiations. You pay Talis Group a fee based on a percent of the first year’s salary. Talis Group will also provide a 90-day unconditional guarantee. If the placement doesn’t work out for any reason, we will find a suitable replacement right away. Talis Group |
